Hi my name is Ola Alex-Dada and I am the founder of New Ways Therapy.

I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and a Registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I specialise in working with people that have depression, anxiety and low mood as a result of intimate relationship problems, family issues and domestic abuse. I also have experience supporting clients through the following issues.

How I Work

  • Person Centred Counselling

    An approach that aims to understand your experience from your unique perspective, focusing on developing a sense of personal power, identifying how you want to live your life and working towards achieving your goals.

  • Psychodynamic Counselling

    An approach that helps to unravel and understand your deep-rooted feelings in order to resolve them by looking at past experiences and relationships and how they influence you in the present.

  • Compassion Focused Therapy

    An approach that helps with shame and self-criticism, which can often be behind issues like anxiety and depression. CFT helps you to cultivate self-compassion and compassion for others, to help regulate mood and create feelings self-acceptance.
